1) PSY's real name is Park Jae Sang.
2) In Korea he is currently signed under YG Entertainment, a company that also works with such artists as BIGBANG, 2NE1, and SE7EN.
3) He made his debut in early 2001 with his first album "Psy from the PSYcho World!"
4) Just 5 months after the first album was released, it was banned for sale to juveniles due to content judged by many civic groups as inappropriate for minors.
5) PSY's second album was also banned for sale to minors.
6) He suffered other early career scandals including being fined for marijuana and serving a 2nd 2-year term in the military due to evidence that he may not have properly served his first mandatory term.
